I’m Karlin Frew - a yoga guide and somatic wellbeing facilitator, sharing the same path I walk; exploring how nature, nutrition, movement and self-awareness transform the body’s energy and balance.
My interests are broad ranging from creating the most flavoursome cacao drinks I can - to dancing and a few things in between. My study and experience enable offerings that I hope are received as grounded, heart-led insights into natural wellbeing.
My formal study includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Enterprise, where my research project explored Yoga and Mental Wellness. I’ve completed multiple Yoga Teacher Trainings and continued my professional development through Yoga Alliance. I am interested in midlife (it’s interesting right?! ) and have studied the Science of Menopause for Health Coaches (2025) with Dr Wendy Sweet (My Menopause). I also continue to learn from Dr Linda Dear (MenoDoctor), a pioneering New Zealand–based leader in menopause education.
My recent study focused on menopause and midlife transitions, but my broader interest lies in the hormonal landscape across all genders and ages; understanding how lifestyle, nutrition, energy, movement and environment influence human biology, mood and vitality; our emotional, mental, physical and soulful selves.
I have over 3,000 hours of yoga teaching experience and professional training, as well as decades of personal practice. Through my writing, teaching and shared resources,
I aim to share insights from my study, research and lived experience in ways that are accessible and relatable.
